Zudello's syncs are pretty easy to use.
Each integration and solution has a different setup for fetching data. When new data gets created in your ERP/accounting system a new sync needs to be run to update the information in Zudello. Zudello automatically fetches(syncs) information regularly at fixed time intervals depending on the amount of data and the ERP/accounting system. Sometimes, this new data is entered into your ERP/accounting system just after a sync has run meaning there will be a delay before the information is displayed in Zudello. This article explains how to trigger a sync outside of the fixed time interval.
Please note: once the fetches are triggered, depending on the amount of data that needs to be synced, it may take a few hours until all the updates are reflected in Zudello. Please do not click the sync button multiple times in a row as this will restart the sync and slow down the process.
There are different workflows that trigger different sections of information to be fetched from your ERP/accounting system. It is important you trigger the appropriate workflow e.g. if you are missing a tax value from your ERP/Accounting system, you will need to trigger the tax workflow, or if you have the wrong locations compared to your ERP/Accounting system you will need to trigger the locations workflow. If you are unsure which workflow to trigger please reach out.
Example of Customer missing in Zudello:
If you are missing information about a customer, the contact workflow needs to be run to reflect the last updates that were made in the ERP/accounting system.
Step 1: To run your contacts sync workflow, please click on Settings.
Step 2: click on workflows.
Step 3: find the correct sync workflow you want to trigger and click on it to open.
Step 4: click only once on "Run workflow" icon and your workflow should start to run.
Step 5: to check if the trigger worked, click on the "History" button.
By clicking on History you can confirm if the workflow is running.
